Across Dartmoor, free-roaming ponies move through the open grassland, their presence inseparable from the landscape. I observed the quiet moments between them—mares grazing while foals rested at their feet.
The series explores kinship, instinct and belonging. Through these photographs, I consider the bond between herd and habitat: a life shaped by weather, vast open moorland and the enduring rhythms of Dartmoor.
